Ok so I've been reading TRP for a couple months. It's been a long process swallowing the pill, even longer to undue BP habits and thinking (fighting oneitis is a hard battle that I plan on winning, seriously fuck that shit). Things I know I still have a long ways to go and I'm fighting many old habits, especially in how I think and act; personally those are the hardest habits to break.

Anyway, I started my first semester in college and ended up meeting a girl in one of my classes. At first I shrugged her off even though she was fairly attractive (she came across as a little weird at first). I started talking to her and a group of two others because I needed help in the class and they were at the top. I would tease her and joke around and just have a good time and it seemed she was entertaining it. She teases back and playfully touches/shoves. Immediately I noticed what seemed to be shit tests. I either ignore or play off of them. I probably didn't pass all, but I don't know if I caught them all. This is all new to me, in terms of application. But to cut the bullshit, I basically felt that she was showing attraction. The problem is I doubt myself and my intuition. I am prone to overthinking and have started meditating to help but I have a longways to go. Another factor that threw me off was that she's older than me. I'm 19 and she's 23, so I wasn't expecting any attraction, plus I'm always told I look young.

My questions are:

  1. how can I improve my reading of body language?

  2. Do I trust my intuition/gut, and if so, how do I know what my intuition is/or what it's saying?

  3. How do I stop doubting myself? (not sure if I should define this as a confidence issue)

  4. What is the most effective way of changing my attitude/thinking from BP to RP?

Excuse my questions, but I have no other source of RP advice/no RP figure in my life to turn to, so I turn to you my brothers. P.S. this isn't so much about the girl, as it is about general habits. This is just one instance I see it very applicable to. Plus I learn from experience, so experiencing using the red pill/actively observing me helps me learn the most.

Thank you and excuse the essay!
