Pretty much i think a comfort test comes down to her needing to feel validated instead of insulting you, pushing you away and trying to bring you down.

sometimes, comfort tests blur a bit. But if you don't get the "respond and destroy" feeling a shittest gives you, then STFU and use your body. Try a hug.

Example: as I've approached 13% BF, my wife has stayed at the higher level than she was pre-kids. I look GD good now. She looks the same as the last 15 yrs. Not ripped, no bikini for her, nomsayin (all one-piece type bathing suits, you get the idea). So we do some daytime fucky with the kids at school, we shower together afterwards and in the very bright light of the sun in our large windowed bathroom, she looks at my abs, then hers, then mine, and says: "are you gonna leave me for a younger thinner version?"

I did not say, like the old BP me would have: "no way baby!"
I did not say, like a dark triad guy would: "god i hope so"
I did say: "awwwwww" and gave her a hug/kissed her forehead.

that's it. kept some dread there by not answering yet did pass the comfort test. try your body's embrace, and STFU in combo.
