Is there a fine line between dressing well and dressing like a man? Lots of guys in my city try to pull off the metrosexual look and in my opinion it makes them look effeminate despite the fact that they technically have a good fashion sense. I'm not into fashion so I don't want to dress like that as it would feel fake.
With that said, I think I could really stand out with a simple but masculine style. However, I am clueless when it comes to layering, fit, and appropriate color scheming so I have a lot of trouble dressing well in the colder months. I don't want to just copy what I see people wearing; I want to cultivate my own style without looking like a try-hard.
What are some good resources or tips for this?
