Google: 'sleep hygiene'. Read from a paper book before sleeping. Get blue light filters for computer and phone. Don't read your phone/tablet in bed even with a filter. Stick to a good routine: wake up/go to sleep (before 11 pm) at the same time.

Excessive or regular use of either saps motivation and may cause other harm. But irregular use? All good. The issue is less the drugs and more that people become dependent on them.

It depends on the jurisdiction, but oral sex often counts as rape under the law.

Yeah man. You were drugged and raped. That's what happened to you. I would tell your parents what happened, unless you think they wouldn't believe you. If so, I would at least tell your doctor (medical, not therapist). I'm sorry I don't have any advice about how to get over something like that. I will say in the future be firmer with your mum. You don't have to do anything just because she tells you to, least of all be friends with someone.

Really fantastic post. Clear, simple, direct. None of the fluff or bullshit, and advice that basically anyone can apply.

Strong Lifts 5x5. Do that until you can't put any more weight on. For bonus points, do some bicep and tricep workouts on Day A, and an extra core exercise on Day B. Also run (not far but fast) after every workout. Then stretch.

This can be irrelevant however. Yes, sleeplessness might be a symptom of a wider issue, but it is also a contributing factor. Bringing it under control artificially (even just temporarily) will help you deal with the other problems your having. If you don't want to go prescription, get some melatonin and practice good sleep hygiene.

I was raised in a somewhat strange way in that I had neither the 'firm hand' nor the coddling. My mother, who raised me after I was about 12/13, is extremely Red Pill when it comes to society. None of this emotional shit, extremely pragmatic, very unlike most other people (let alone women) I've met. So in under normal circumstances I would have gotten 'firm hand' parenting, but my mother didn't really care about that part of raising me. She'd teach me how to interact with the world (society, not…

Don't confuse 'intimidating' with 'unattractive'. Women who are built aren't really intimidating unless they use steroids, especially when they're 5'0". But heavy musculature in women isn't attractive to most guys because it's a masculine trait. You don't really hear many guys saying "I really like women who look like men".

is there a female equivalent of a "nice guy"? Yes, but it's different and isn't to do with sexual strategy (but the same 'transactional' behaviours are present). Are they considered as unattractive by men, as nice guys are to women. No, like I said, not to do with sexual strategy. As said, a close example to the male version is a slut (she is overly 'putting in' sex in exchange for attention but failing to get commitment), but some girls have transactional 'nice' relations with others, putting i…

Indian men need to give up their culture if they want to fuck white women. No...they need to stop certain behaviours which are common in Indian men because of their cultural background. There are plenty of Indian men who, for whatever reason, don't have the same 'beta' behaviours many others do. That's not 'giving up their culture', that's adjusting their behaviour. White men don't have to do this. Plenty of white men have had to do exactly this. The post-Sexual Revolution Feminist-dominated Wes…

The same could be said of many white men. These are behaviours that have been taught by a particular environment. Yes, they are more common in South Indian men because of their cultural background, but they are not innate nor are they unchangebale. Just like a white guy raised by an overbearing single mum can change his behaviour, so too can an Indian guy. Saying to Indian guys "Give up because you'll never have a white girl" is A; wrong, and B; demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of TRP…

If you're an Indian guy you literally are wasting incredibly amounts of time and energy if you're trying to go for Hot Blondes. It won't happen. Yeah, unless you look like this. The 'Indian's can't date white girls' is a bunch of bullshit. Do Indian (and other South Asian) guys have a harder time getting white girls? Sure, just like being short, disabled, ugly, whatever. All this means is two things; as an Indian guy you need to put in more effort that an 'equivalent' white guy. You need to make…

Basically she's gotten comfortable with you always being there. She doesn't have to try anymore because you'll always just be there for her. It doesn't matter how she acts, because you'll always show up every weekend. You need to start withdrawing that attention and start 'taking back' the guy she initially fell for. For example; take a free weekend, regularly, and go do your travelling. Oh, she wants to see you? Fuck her, go travel, she can see you next time. If you have better things to do tha…

I obviously have a vested interest in society and what it stands for. I don't like the fact that women are being destroyed for possible marriages, while we succumb to our desires. So you're going to be a one man hero and save it by being abstinent? You don't have to have lots of casual flings if you don't want to. Some guys do, some don't. If you want a long term serious relationship you can just do that if that's what you want. TRP isn't all about getting as many one-night stands as you want. T…

I suppose Ill tell her that next time it comes up No. You don't need to give details for why you don't want commitment right now, so don't. Don't give her a laundry list of items to tick off before you'll be her boyfriend. At this stage maintain the line you have; 'you're not ready for commitment right now, but maybe in the future'. That's all you need to say if it's your honest position, which it is.
/r/askTRP03/07/17 08:36 AM
1

It's the evasiveness. You're assuming the risk she may leave by not committing but, if you're being misleading, you're also avoiding the higher risk she leaves if you're honest about your intentions. If you have no intention of making a commitment at this time, why don't you say that to her if she asks? The key here is that you wait until she asks directly.

This is a nuance the sidebar may miss. Girls will try to 'slide' into a relationship. They'll ask "What are we?" because they're seeking an answer from you. They want you to do the defining. Girls will seek commitment but want to avoid the direct confrontation that could blow up in their face. The sidebar is essentially saying 'be indirect' to avoid 'accidentally' committing, especially to a girl who doesn't even have the courage to ask you directly. In your case it seems like the girl has asked…

You need to define what you want. Totally forget what your parents think for a moment (I mean forget, don't reject what they think simply because it's what they think). Sit down and think about what you want to do; your goals in life and the behaviours you want to have. Then justify why you want those things to yourself. You need this firm grounding. You want to do X because you have decided A, B, and C. Now your parents/family might be supportive of some of your choices, they might not be. Havi…

Yeah, get stress and anxiety under control. Aside from the usual pills and therapy, make sure you're getting enough exercise (cardio), and consider taking a zinc and/or magnesium supplement (but not together, one in the morning and the other at night), both help brain function and stress and are lacking in most people.

Grow up and stop trying to be the White Knight. It hasn't happened to me, but one friend had a girl repeatedly threaten suicide if he left her, and another had a fake pregnancy pulled on him so they would stay together. Both friends are white and middle-class from a nice area, so I can imagine this is even worse for those in other demographics.

You will eventually hit a plateau where you'll need a different, more tailored approach to keep making gains, although by then they'll probably be limited. What I will say about Stronglifts is to augment it with some Bicep and Tricep lifts to target your arms specifically.

I am really curious as to what extent mental states are pliable though, in any situation. Go big or go home. The issue with BJJ is that even if it is incredibly effective at pinning and holding someone, it doesn't look like it is, and kind of just looks like a brawl to the average person (such as the guy's mates). You throw a kick to the head and it'll be fucking scary irrespective of whether or not it connects. People will fight a brawler, they won't fight a ninja. Even if you're just throwing …

Ideally I'd love to master standing arm/wrist/finger/joint locks. Sure, I'll take a hit, but once I've got a hold of the guy he's basically in my control. One guy sure, but often he'll have friends which give him the confidence to attack. The other issue is that you're violating one of the cardinal rules of a street fight; don't get too close. Good takedown/swipe techniques are also key of course. I would argue you may not want to do this unless you're in real trouble. What's going to cause seri…

Only downside is lack of standing combat in BJJ This is my problem with BJJ and why I recommend Muay Thai for self-defence over it. If you're in a situation where you need to fight, going to ground on asphalt or concrete is just stupid, and if there's more than one opponent you're fucked. Muay Thai keeps you upright, moving, and after you kick one of the fuckers in the head the rest tend to take the message.

As far as I can tell there are only two positives for drinking, both pretty weak. Firstly, it can lower anxiety and you'll be more social, do more approaches, etc. Secondly, some people may like the taste of a particular alcohol. In the first case this is really just an trick, if you need alcohol to be effective socially, that's bad. The second is maybe more arguable, but still a really small positive. The benefits to not drinking are wider. You'll avoid drunken mistakes, look more in control, i…

I know I am a terrible person. Why? Because you value a closer relationship with greater emotional and physical fulfillment? Because you're (reasonably) concerned you're being used for finances? Because you're now in a relationship you admit you initially didn't want to be in? You are in a bad, long distance relationship. It's ok to break up. My goal is to live and work in the US, and was recently on my way to achieving that goal; studying in the US and about to aggressively start looking for a job to get a visa. 15 isn't too young, but this community is a bit of 'blowtorch'. A lot of good, helpful resources and advice, a lot of shit, and a lot of angry/upset guys who are trying to redefine themselves. A better alternative is maybe to show him some of the resources that TRP links to, not necessarily TRP itself. It's important to understand that the image that TRP has of 'the good 'ol days' of stoic, strong men and feminine, submissive women with perfect nuclear families is basically fantasy. Social rules, behaviors, and mores largely follow two things; firstly, the basic underlying human physiology and psychology; which is basically unchanged in the last 50,000 years, and secondly the way in which that underlying psychology adapts itself to the circumstances of the day. For most of human history our ci…

I think an important difference is that Carnegie is talking about making friends and building non-sexual relationships. When you lavish praise people like being around you because they feel good when they are, so they're subconsciously attracted to being around you, but not necessarily attracted to you. Large European cities are no longer primarily white. Whites are fleeing to the suburbs and countriside. So? Muslims (let's be honest who we're talking about here) make up only 6% of the population of France, which I believe is the largest in Western Europe (certainly in terms of numbers). Yes, there are major issues with that community, and yes they have a higher birthrate than whites, but that's nowhere near population collapse. Further, who cares where whites live? None of your three examples are moral arguments against a particular behavior though. The first example; 'don't do drugs' is fairly straightforward; drugs, at least certainly cocaine, are bad for you. They negatively affect you physically, psychologically, financially, and can have negative social impacts if people associate you with them. Those are reasons not to do drugs that have nothing to do with morals. The second example is arguing against cheating, but it isn't a moral one, just a poorly…

I think you're fine. Just start talking to her again and try to spin if you want to, otherwise just be polite and 'normal'. You had a rough, emotional time and had to step away from the relationship with her. That's what happened and that's ok, and it's ok to tell her that if she wants some kind of explanation, but don't apologise or try to 'explain away' the ghosting and don't say that if she doesn't ask.

Get a set of scales with a body fat measure, they're relatively cheap online these days. Now these measures don't need to be 100% accurate (because the difference between 12% fat and 13% is academic), but you do need to know if you're losing or gaining body fat, as well a ballpark of where you're at.
/r/askTRP21/04/17 01:19 PM
7

Firstly for most people diet is the issue. Eat less and you'll lose fat, plain and simple. You don't, however, want to crash your lifting routine by not eating enough to fuel muscle growth. Secondly it's important you're measuring bodyfat, not merely weight. As your body weight has stayed the same over time you've lost fat and gained muscle; remaining 'weight' neutral.

You simply don't have a LTR then? Is that the only way to avoid a girl cheating on you. No, you go into the LTR knowing it's a possibility, and you do what you can (or, more accurately, what you are willing to do) to minimise that risk. You minimise risk through considered LTR selection (the serial cheating club-slut is more likely to cheat than the virgin Christian girl, but that isn't to say the virgin Christian won't cheat under the right circumstances). Depends how intense the workout is. A light workout (total of 30-40 pushups) would be a good morning wakeup routine you could do everyday. More intense stuff you'll want to work into your existing routine. Unless its very light, never workout the same muscles every day, give it at least a day break. If you're doing stuff to failure, that's an intense workout. I would consider a light workout 50% of what you can do, so if you can do 4 sets of 20, a light workout would be 2 sets of 20. If you want…

Pushups are an exercise you do in sets, not pure amount of reps, in order to increase in strength. My suggestion is either do X amount for 4-5 sets (say 4 sets of 20 or 5 sets of 15), or doing 3 sets, each to failure.

I also see that girls are more likely to be receptive when isolated. But you also look less ballsy. Not following through makes you look like a scared little boy. I've been thinking about this a little recently as well. In the US I felt the number of men and women who went to the gym was roughly equal, even if they did different things (women cardio, men weights). This may depend on the state though; in Texas I think there were slightly more men, in DC; slightly more women. Having moved back to Australia, the gym I go to at my uni is 70%+ men, and a good proportion of the women are older women trying to stay fit for health reasons. The range of men in the…

My rule is pretty simple; if I know them (and don't seriously dislike them), I won't. In your case it's even more straightforward; take the sex thing out completely and say to yourself "Would I willingly do something that would seriously emotionally (and potentially financially in some cases) hurt my friend, just for sex?" If you're answer is yes, then you're a bad friend.

Hmm. Usually this issue is simply bodyfat, but you're fairly fit. The only thing I can think of is to get bigger in terms of muscles. If bodylanguage isn't the issue, then maybe consider growing a beard (a well kept one, none of this fuzzy rats' nest hipster shit), or if you have one, shaving it. Finally, maybe take up an aggressive martial art like Muay Thai. It will have a subtle affect on your confidence in life and further impact your body language.

You could cook at home for her (as opposed to together), and then go out to a nice bar. Bars (IMO) are better for the nice atmosphere/setting than restaurants, and the dinner cooked at home is more intimate and less cliched (and also cheaper) than going out. Why have people decided that feminism isn't about equality? Because it isn't. Even if 'moderate' feminists aren't actively trying to oppress men's rights (and in some cases even they are; look at NOW's reaction to equal custody laws in Florida), they aren't as actively promoting equality for men. Their advocacy is discriminatory. Do I bring up the "girlfriend" topic or wait for her to do it? Wait for her to do it, but start doing some 'boyfriend' behaviours. If she responds, she's into the relationship, if not...well then you have your answer. How to establish monogamy from her end but not mine I personally don't do this because I don't think it's 'fair', but you usually don't have to. Women will tend to want to just be with you if you're attractive enough to her. This creates 'de facto' monogamy from her.

Hypothetically you could have escalated the dancing to making out, then take her by the hand, lead her off the dancefloor and pull her onto your lap and keep going. Maintain kino with a little push/pull (you don't want to seem too eager), and you'd have her. I didn't feel that compelled to be honest Which is why I said 'hypothetically' above. I need to stress how much I love this girl, I would be crushed, broken, destroyed if it ended, I could never see her again. Why? I'm seriously asking. I'm not saying you wouldn't be sad, extremely sad, very upset, whatever, if you broke up. I love my girlfriend incredibly deeply and would be devastated if we broke up. But my life wouldn't be over. Absolutely there are people who are successful (and I would say highly successful) who look like that. But if we're playing the odds here; he's not Travis Barker, and the vast majority of people who look like are not successful.

Why do I get more success when I am dressed like a Beta Bux as opposed to a masculine, edgy "bad boy"? Because you're not a 'bad boy', so dressing like one is dishonest (and women can sense that) and you come off as some kind of creepy weirdo, and you probably just don't suit the look. As an aside; if your friend looks like the guy in the picture, that's trashy as fuck and is not a good look for success in society with the exception of some long shot arty niches.

'Game' depends to some extent on the environment. Some European countries (further South and East in particular) still operate on 'traditional' gender dynamics (or more so at least than Anglo countries). The girls are still looking for the more traditional romance, in addition to certain Red Pill aspects. A good example of this is Casanova. Dude got laid like crazy, but was also the ultimate in soppy romantic stuff. There's also a difference between being 'romantic' and being 'beta'. 'Betas' (I …

Your argument for marriage is literally "I'm afraid of strokes." Are you seriously that fearful of living your life? I'm successful because I think and plan of multiple contingencies. So what's your contingency for when your sex life declines to nothing and your wife leaves you and takes 50+% of your wealth? I don't think it is possible to change yourself completely. It is totally possible, even if some extremely fundamental ways. Check out Neuroplasticity. I always thought it stood a lot with traditional gender roles and stuff like that. Religion was a means to enforce the gender roles which were the most productive and least disruptive for more complex (non-hunter/gatherer) societies. It did this through a mixture of fear, rewards, and shame for both genders. The 'traditional' feminist narrative has focused on the way it polices women's behaviour, but it does so for men as well. Part of the 'binary' nature of TRP I think because it is so fiercely resisted and criticised. Every single tenet has to be fought and pushed for because it not only goes against the mainstream, it is actively suppressed by it. You're right this doesn't leave much room for nuance or theoretical debates, but to some extent TRP doesn't have that luxury. To get women to agree to a FWBs arrangement, do you need to be in the top 20% of men looks wise? No. It helps (height especially), but it is neither a necessary nor sufficient requirement. Primary thing with attracting women, above looks, money, social status, etc, is 'game'; both in terms of being able to flirt effectively and maintaining frame, etc, to maintain longer term attraction. Stress, obviously, can kill the libido. If you've gained weight (fat) over that time period, that can also have an impact, and I would also start lifting if you aren't already. Is it super obvious to others? Go nuclear; call him out in front of everyone in a situation where he is clearly a dick. One of two things will happen; you will seriously embarrass him and he'll hopefully refrain (at least for a bit), and more importantly you'll find out where the others stand. The other possibility is everyone else in the group will side with him, in which case you can find a new group. It is important, however, to not sound either aggressive or like you're whining. Also practic…

Getting scales which measured bodyfat was great for me. They don't need to be super accurate, just enough to get a rough idea and in what direction your heading in. I ignore actual weight because I also lift (which you should be doing). Drop carbs and sugars. Count calories if you want to, I just experimented until I found a meal plan in which I drop fat but also don't feel like I'm starving.

We have mood congruent memory bias as well, so it's ok that a woman will recall memories that fit her current mood. The other would be a form of choice supportive memory bias. I'm arguing that it's more extreme in women, that the memories feed into their emotional state, and that women will seek out memories so they can essentially go over the emotions again. I'm not denying men do this as well, but nowhere near to the same extent. Also, your model doesn't explain why they talk about exes even w…

Ok, now, not that I disagree, but projection does offer the same explanation with less links in the chain. Women do things though like, classically, bringing up stuff from the past when you're fighting, but also do things like go over picture albums and stuff which reinforces the 'nice' parts of a relationship. There's an emotional memory there which is both real (not just projection) and not present (or at least significantly less present) in guys.

Find a study system which works. I found studying to reach certain study goals (ie; read a chapter, write 500 words, etc) is much more effective for me than studying for a set time. Experiment with different systems and find what works for you. The most important thing is consistency, and studying almost every day. It doesn't necessarily have to be for a long time, but a bit every day is vital. If you run out of schoolwork, read a chapter or two of a nonfiction book instead.

Well, this happens, it's a memory bias. It works the other way though, if she's happy with the current state she'll remember events to disqualify past relationships, and if she's unhappy, she'll qualify past relationships. I actually think women do less of this balancing. When a girl is happy, the bad past events don't exist, and vice-versa. The relationship, irrespective of how good or bad it was, exists entirely from the perspective of the current emotional state. One the one hand this is why …

I think there's a difference between hiding who you date and exposing your private life to your coworkers. Feigned innocence is a good way to go. Yes, workplace gossip can harm your reputation but at some point that's out of your control. If it comes up, you are just a guy who likes a girl. You think old fashioned notions of 'age appropriate' love are sexist vestiges of the patriarchy, and women and men shouldn't be sexually shamed for who they date.

If past events carried the same emotional impact they would still effect their behavior and willingness to invest, hence stuff like Briffault's Law would be fairly imprecise and demand a lot of foot notes. More that parts of the relationship can be drawn up to fit a woman's current emotional state, rather than using events to create a 'layered' emotional view of the relationship. If she's happy with the relationship, she recalls past happy events, if she's unhappy, she recalls past unhappiness; …

I've a pet theory that women view relationships with men (whether sexual or not, committed or not) as a 'ball' with all experiences existing together simultaneously. Past events, brought up again, carry the same emotional impact for them as if they were happening again, which is why they tend to remember various little details which men forget. Men, in contrast, view relationships as a series of chronological events, the further back in time an event is, the less emotional the impact is. In this…

Find your 'mission'. It's what helped me. I also am especially sensitive to external validation, although I don't think I necessarily go seeking it or 'crave' it. Your mission in life should be something substantial you want to achieve for good reasons, not just 'because'; it is something you want to do/want to get done because you value it. It should also be something reasonably specific. You create internal validation by working towards that goal, because the closer you are to your achieving y…

Probably a number of factors. You (and everyone else) give off subconscious and conscious indicators of personality, lifestyle, and preferences, as do girls. People tend to make choices about how they appear (as well as how they behave) which reinforce these traits. The blonde party types look a certain way because they are blonde party types, and to some extent early socialisation would have reinforced that. It's essentially a feedback loop that the individual has to 'break' out of if they want…

Depends on goals, obviously. Lower reps/Heavier weight builds strength, don't exercise to failure. Moderate reps (12-15)/moderate weight builds muscle size, especially when exercising to failure. Higher reps (20+)/low weight builds endurance, and isn't really relevant for most guys unless they're athletes or drummers. Having said that, there are some exercises that you should do this way (generally small muscles); I do lateral raises at low weights, increasing the reps to 30, and then increasing…

TRP is a male space where men discuss male topics from the male perspective. You, as a woman, have essentially no value offering your perspective, not because nothing you offer is valuable, but because of your perspective as a woman. Age helps, if you're still a teenager it's gonna be rough, I've found mine has somewhat subsided as I've gotten older. The other thing is simply learning to accept it. Are you tall? Tall guys, especially if they're decently athletic, need to do very little to get laid. I've watched it happen with tall friends and, as a short guy, it is incredibly infuriating. Abundance mentality, at least as it applies to women, is the fairly simple idea that any given girl, no matter how good looking/nice/smart/funny/whatever she is, is merely one of many other girls. It's simply the internalisation of the phrase 'plenty more fish in the sea'. I have 7 'core' books (3 individual ones, one trilogy) which I want to read. I read a chapter a night, and use a highlighter to highlight the key arguments. When I finish each book, I'm going to go back over it and write up a summary of each chapter using the highlighted notes. It's important to make sure what you're reading is actually helpful t…

I was actually in your exact position; I'd been going to the gym for about 2 years, relatively intensely, and not doing 5x5 (my gym did not have a bar, only dumbells). I did have definition; I had big arms and pecs, and using a machine I still had large thighs, and my back was quite big. Over the last few months I switched to the college gym and started doing 5x5, plus shoulders, situps, bicep curls, and tricep skullcrushers (I think you need to do extra arm stuff for 5x5, especially if you've b…

I've seen this a few times in various academic texts, I remember in one instance in a law textbook. I find the preference for 'she' confusing, given 'they' is usually a grammatically acceptable alternative. The distinction in some fields (or a lot of undergrad studies) is simply academic, but in law and other fields which rely on older texts or long quotes from hundred-year old cases, where the use is always masculine, then it can get confusing. and does not seem likely to do any harm. Then usin…

It also gives her an avenue to 'get back with' the guy when she wants to. Seeing her status updates will also play on a guy's mind, especially if she's out sleeping around again. Essentially if you haven't cut contact, she is still in your life, even peripherally; and she shouldn't be. Your relationship is over. She i…

When talking about your mother, don't get emotional, just lay out the facts. Talk at an even pace, and (like you said) avoid traps. One of the immediate issues I see is that, especially with the uncle testifying against your father, the fact that you personally haven't seen any violence doesn't mean it hasn't happened. An attorney could certainly swing so that all the alleged violence 'just happened' to occur while you were away. I think it's enough to say that you don't trust your uncle to be h…

Its the awalt/hamster program that sickens me.....its why I can't take a woman serious Because you expect her to play by the 'rules' and be a good and loyal wife. TRP teaches that the 'rules' are artificial constructs of society, that post-Sexual Revolution has essentially destroyed for women, while Feminism continues to demand those rules apply to men. TRP is about men breaking (or at least ignoring) those rules. It's hypocritical to promote 'rule breaking' for men but not women. Having said al…

Group identification. Men have much stronger group identification and loyalty than women, it's partly what makes men better as military units. On the other hand, however, an effective way to de-sectarianise a country like Syria or Iraq, and lower ethnic tensions is to allow women to vote and ensure they do. Because they are less loyal to ethnicity or religion, they are more likely to vote for a candidate for practical reasons (ie; self interest).

Of the three I suggested Muay Thai is the best all rounder. The issue with krav magra is that (properly taught) it's a combat martial art. The problem with BJJ is that it's a grappling art (and predominantly ground based). Muay Thai keeps you standing and moving, BJJ is useless if your ground surface is concrete and you're facing more than one opponent. Maybe instead of just making criticisms like a snide asshole you should share you're no doubt sweeping knowledge of the subject.

Chinese are making a pretty damn good play at it tho. Although scoring high academically (even in Western universities) the Chinese have failed to convert that into high level managerial positions at global companies. We'll see over time, but IMO it will be highly dependent on internal Chinese politics. A strong 'external' push by one of the smaller Asian countries like South Korea or Japan would be more likely to change the dynamic.

Mauy Thai is the way to go. BJJ is often recommended as well, and is really good in an MMA tournament where you're only fighting one guy on a nice, soft mat. On the concrete street with possibly more than one guy? I'd like to stay on my feet. The other alternative is Krav Magra. No experience in it personally, but I've heard it described like this; BJJ is for when you fight people in MMA. Mauy Thai is when you want to fight people for real. Krav Magra is when you want to kill people.

Yes. TRP is about a lot more than marriage and divorce law. I would certainly consider marriage (although later in life than I would if I didn't follow TRP) if it wasn't a colossal risk with very limited (if any) reward. The SA were well known for holding gay orgies. The anti-homosexual stance of the Nazis is a later adoption, and I don't believe Hitler was especially for it. IIRC Himmler, the commander of the SS and rival to the SA, was the one with the staunch anti-gay views (although also the main proponent of the occult), and he hated Rohm. I felt the rant scene was weirdly out of place, and while what Hathaway's character was saying was accurate, it was also basically "man-up" directed at the 'boy' employees, as if it was their fault that society basically destroyed the common understanding of masculinity. Most of Russian culture is at least partly European, it is only in recent years that it has become more distinct. I can see two possible scenarios here, with more or less the same outcome; Firstly, she's lying and you should leave her. Alternatively, she's telling the truth, was raped (and thus deserves all the sympathy and concern we should give to real rape victims), but now refuses to report the crime. (Good) stand-up comedians are having a conversation with the audience, they don't look like they're performing, although in reality that's what they're doing. Most of the time they tell funny stories and anecdotes, or make humorous observations about otherwise mundane topics. Don't copy what they say, merely how they say it.

Serious question: is depopulation even a bad thing? Imbalanced depopulation is. This isn't just general depopulation, the planet's population is growing, this is a depopulation of the wealthiest, healthiest, least violent, and most stable demographic, while other demographics continue to grow, and in some cases like Europe, replace them. This would be less of an issue if these other demographics were becoming as stable and peaceful as Europeans as they expanded, but in most cases they aren't. Po…

TRP is organic only because of the anonymous/sharing medium I'd argue the opposite. With such anonymity, you need quite a lot of field reports before you start to believe that X or Y will work. The vast majority of TRP is anecdotal. If people were posting peer-reviewed science papers, then the anonymity wouldn't matter. TRP lacks such scientific analysis because it would far too politically incorrect for any scientific body to do the research. Any researcher who says "we're setting out how to sy…

I am surprised at the amount of curiousity within this community. It's actually quite simple, from my perspective, you do what we do, you want to understand and quantify human behaviour so you can develop techniques and strategies to use it for your advantage, you're just much better at it. Most of the stuff on TRP, from the tactics to the grand strategy, has been cobbled together and honed over 25 years. Apart from a handful of psych studies (which usually only confirm existing RP theories), mu…

There is no reason to go nuclear - that's an overreaction and in no way serve you well (who's that freak that yelled at Becca!?). I didn't interpret 'going nuclear' as yelling. Going nuclear in this case is merely blowing up the entire frame that the girls have set up for him. In this case a straight up refusal would be the best bet. No, there would be no confusion over who the person is. The case I mentioned is one which I (and I think a lot of people) disagree with but is nonetheless influential; the woman knew who the man was, but incorrectly believed they were married. She believed she was sleeping with her husband when they were in fact not technically married. Amazingly, this was enough to get a rape conviction.

Actually I think this is just straight rape by fraudulent identity. Papadimtropoulos is fucked, but I think this is actually a better example of the High Court's argument regarding the nullification of consent where there is a misrepresentation of the identity.

Don't just work out, focus on weight lifting, build muscle, being huge will give you a hell of a lot of respect and you'll simply feel more confident. In other words, to say 'look, my experience is different, so let's not rely on anecdotes to try to prove hard and fast rules'. There are multiple studies referred to in TRP which are not anecdotal. The recurring anecdotes merely serve to reinforce and demonstrate these trends. Why is your way of looking at relationships the only 'happy and successful' way? It isn't. As has been repeatedly stated, there are outliers, but TRP is based on the most effective system as shown by science, and backed up…

I've been involved in the kink scene for a number of years, and so I've seen a lot of this type of relationship also(albeit obviously with a kinky spin), and most of them are nothing like you describe here. I would argue that poly relationships are inherently unhappy, so ignore them. Look at behaviours outside of the kink env…

I think it's an important over-generalisation in this context though. Many guys who are trying to swallow TRP are subjected both to the countervailing argument (that all women are amazing special snowflakes), and susceptible to oneitis. Overstating AWALT reinforces the fact that there are no unicorns and that the vast majority of women will exhibit similar if not the same behaviours. Sex up the profile, respond to the "where are you from?" with playful banter. You need to move from 'relationship guy' to 'ONS guy', and to some extent this will change the kinds of girls you target, but I don't know if you'll notice on tinder. As a general rule, if the girls are on tinder they are looking for ONSs, the relationship stuff is essentially ASD.

It's because you often comment on what behaviors you deem acceptable from women. There are 'conservative' views on the roles of men and women, but they're not usually expressed on TRP. It's the collision of instinct. In hunter-gatherer times (or even early civilization), the big, strong, risk taking, aggressive bad boy alpha was a good provider for a woman and her children; he could kill anything and anyone and was good at making decisions. As far as I can tell you're essentially 'ignoring' the drinking (I assume that's the primary problem here). Even if you say to her "hey babe you're drinking too much/are too drunk", if you don't follow that statement up with action, then it goes in one ear and out the other. As is, she feels no tangible negatives (from you) for drinking to much, in effect, you're not punishing her for bad behaviour. The solution is fairly simple; tell her you don't want her to drink so much (or whatever) and tha…

When you express intelligent opinions or facts confidently, and you're not overbearing, it can be a form of frame setting. Your superior intelligence (again, when properly expressed) makes whatever opinions or beliefs you have that much stronger, and allows you to define her opinions and beliefs within your own much more effectively. This, however, assumes that the girl is into whatever your opinions and/or beliefs are.

Yes you need to become more dominant, but no you do not need to become head of the football team. Tats have always had that 'cool-and-edgy' vibe that create the tingles in girls, but there's an ongoing debate in TRP community about whether or not to get them. In your case you have a functional reason for getting one, and if you can't pull a 'cool scar' story, it might be a good move. if this is shooting myself in the foot considering I work white collar. If it shows in what you wear to work/interviews you will be shooting yourself in the foot. If work doesn't/won't know about it, all good.

Limited or no physical contact is a big one. Keep laughter to a minimum. Other non-verbal cues like crossed legs, hair twirling, 'wide' eyes, are all things game-aware guys look for, and absence of those things would tell me that she's not into me. HOWEVER, that's what game aware guys look for, someone who doesn't know what IOIs to look for will equally be unable to notice when they're absent. I think no physical contact and limited laughter are the big ones that should keep a relationship profe…

First up, it's highschool, not the end of your life, and not even really the beginning, although I know that advice doesn't really feel like it helps. Secondly, I also overthink everything, hence the following step-by-step. But your main thing is to appeal to people. Smile. Don't talk, listen. Ask people what they're up to/how they're going. People love talking about themselves. This may seem like 'beta' behaviour, and to some extent it is, but your goal is to get people to like you, not follow …

I'm the same, I just tend not to give a shit most of the time (I kind of enjoy not sugar coating it, just to get a rise), but I know if I do want to get my point across, I change the wording to make it soft and fluffy. I honestly think that if your idea, whatever it is, is either too complex or too 'offensive' to explain to a mass audience, you're wrong, irrespective of whether or not you're 'right', people will treat you as if you're wrong, and so you may as well be.

Well yes, that's how it used to work, and still does in some cultures. Basically at birth, provided you were normal, you were guaranteed to marry someone. The quality of that person varied on your SMV still, but unmarried people, especially women, were unusual by the time they were 30. What's more because of either illegal or prohibitive divorce, these people generally stayed married. What's happening now is that women effectively have the pick of all men, and naturally are going for all the alp…

Actually most produce more boys than girls, as there is a minutely higher chance of a boy being born than a girl, barring external intervention like sex-selective abortion. However, girls tend to live longer than guys, hence the fact that women make up slightly more the half of most developed countries' populations.

I think the issue is that there are two types of hugs, the 'friend' hug, which pushes you towards friendzone, and a more sexualised hug, which increases intimacy. Personally I go for the side-half hug, with one hand around the waist and a kiss on the cheek. The longer the night goes on, the lower that arm gets.

...No, we're not different species, but there are substantial neurological differences between the two. Studies have shown men are the more romantic sex, and from an evolutionary perspective men are conditioned to place female health and wellbeing above their own (as they are the disposable gender). It's also important to point out that while women 'in love' may endure abuse from their partner in the same way that men will (although women are arguably preconditioned to be able to get through suc…

I've never quite understood why this argument is made by feminists because it infantilises women, arguing that they are simply things with a certain 'switch', when if you know where it is, sex will just flow. It's merely a continuation of the feminist trend of abrogating female personal responsibility and instead putting it on men.

The tilt is really obvious, I extend my hand already tilted with the palm facing down before contact is made. Unless the other person is aware of what I'm doing, it feels natural, and I've only had two cases I can recall where I felt the other person try to realign the handshake.

I think the key is not to do all these at once. Making sure your hand is the one on top of the shake (point 4) is a great, subtle one that very few people will notice, and nobody would ever comment on. I've taken to extending my hand for a handshake almost flat (palm facing down), basically forcing them to accept to the subordinate side of the handshake. Another good one is to step toward them when you shake hands. This brings them close to you without you 'pulling' the handshake. The key is the…

The two are interrelated, kino builds the emotional tingles because it demonstrates emotional investment on the part of the guy; "Oh he's paying attention to me by touching me". There's a slight, but important difference. I sometimes see people on here talking about how older or non-Western cultures are 'Red Pill'. This IMO is incorrect. Older societies, and modern ones which have not liberalised, at least subconsciously recognise the biological imperatives, however, rather than teaching the …

Part of the issue with why it's difficult to define when rape happens is because there's increasing pressure to equate not wanting to have sex with not giving consent. These things aren't actually the same, we give consent and frequently do things we don't want to do all the time. How it should work is if you do have sex, and participate in sex, absent any drug influences which would seriously impair your judgement, you have consented to sex by your actions. It's more to do with contractual validity. The marriage is totally valid without it (before it's not like the Government knows whether or not you've consummated), it just isn't enforceable vis a vis divorce and such, if one party wanted to annul the marriage. I believe consummation is a requirement in a few US states, although I'm not sure which ones.

In many places (such as the UK) a marriage contract isn't valid until it's been consumated sexually (although interestingly the recent UK gay marriage legislation leaves out this clause IIRC). However, this would only ever have any impact if one party attempted to dissolve the marriage. This would actually be useful because it allows effective annulment (IIRC, marriage law is not my specialty).

The best thing to do is just to practice TRP in their presence. If you're doing it right, you should be demonstrating to them by your actions that the theory is sound. You don't have to show that all women, or even most, behave the way they do, just the women in their lives.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but I think it's a factor. The archetypal 'nice guy' usually hands out free validation to women, without wanting anything in return, that's why they often find themselves as 'just friends'. Women want the validation on tap they offer, so want to keep them around, but don't need to reciprocate. True, but it's misleading to say that she calls for male criminals to be tortured in such a way or even to imply an anti-male bias. The fact that as a woman she's less likely to be incarcerated for a crime possibly makes her less sensitive to criminals, but you can't draw implications and agendas from statements that aren't there.

I don't understand why Divorce isn't treated like basic contract law. If a woman (or a man) goes to get a divorce, they are effectively breaching contract, yet more often than not they receive the most reward, which is antithetical to contract law. When you get married, absent the other party's breach (for example, domestic violence), you are making a contractual commitment to the other party for your entire life.

Quality goes up and down, but the female approach to TRP will depend on cultural background. In my experience Western women (in particular white girls), having had feminism drilled into them from an early age, are far more evasive, less direct, more manipulative, etc, etc, than women from other ethnic backgrounds, and it's a sliding scale within Western cultures as well.
