Hey I need some advice on what to focus on. I am 21 years old studying. A little bit about my past, my parents divorced when I was 8 and was raised by my single mother with my sister. I grew up in poverty and focused in school and worked to pay the bills so I didn't have much fun activities and friends. After getting from the worst school here in Germany to being close to getting my degree to be able to study I started lacking off and had much fun these years . By fun I mean having friends and some social activities, and not partying or drinking. With 19 I started college and with 20 I started smoking weed. After a year I got panick attacks and was diagnosed with depression and social anxiety. After that I started to lift again and quit weed from daily use to no weed and now I smoke it only with others in social activities 1-2 times a month. I am working on my social anxiety with my therapist but I don't know what to focus on in my life. When I have social activities with my friends I feel like they are boring and are just chilling I don't know if I am just beta or socially inadept but I don't have much fun with them anymore. From this week on I wanted to start to go to clubs, cafes and bars to get socially more adapt and to fight my social anxiety. I feel like I have experienced things that some men in a marriage experience with my mother and sister like justifying my actions for them or doing things for their approval. I learned from this and I don't want to experience that with a girlfriend. I am still on my way to unplugging. I have read no more Mr nice guy and the rational male is next but I need some advice what I should do next. Sometimes I think about quitting college and start some illegal business to earn money because I didn't do well in college in the past 2 years because of anxiety that maybe I couldn't do it (my therapist says that comes from my social anxiety). But now I am switching to a different college that is easier the negative thing about this is that the college I am going right now has a very good image but is way harder.
