After setting up a date, girl advised a day or two before that she had family plans. Responded (shortened, hopefully we can make plans for another time)

I did no contact for one week, opened up again to set something up but she has plans with coworkers on the day I suggested.

My questions:

  1. Should I ask when she is free, or set something up for a day in the week? If so, how should I direct it...

I can't tell if there is lack of interest or genuinely busy.
