We champion lifting because a lot of the people who come here have never done so a day in their lives and need the kick up the ass necessary to regain their masculinity (and the state of mind that is 'alpha') that lifting provides.

You can possess said state without it. But ask yourself: if you had the ability to better yourself physically, why wouldn't you?

You are asking the wrong question. Being Alpha is not about having any physical advantages over others. I have seen plenty of bodybuilders chicken out in a fight. Being Alpha is a state of mind. A way of learning how to shape the world around you with the way you carry yourself.

In a war, having more weapons is always better. But the weapons alone will not win you the war. What will win you that war is balls, fearlessness, stoicism, decision, risk, in conjunction with many, many factors.

Winning women over is a combination of many things. You are doing yourself a terrible disfavor if you simply concentrate on the physical. I have seen Alphas in wheelchairs. Missing limbs. Fat ones, skinny ones. It is most certainly NOT a physical thing.

Why lift? For the soul my friend, your soul. If it ever stops being about you, you lose.
