A lot of people go to clubs because it's the weekend and they don't know what else to do for fun so they go out and take pictures and validate themselves on social media. In other words, they won't go out and fuck a random dude, unless that dude is worth fucking or they're really horny.

You might be coming off too strong if you just grab her and not give her a choice, she'll dance with you out of pressure from you but she won't be into it unless she was down in the first place. I see this all the time, some guys even go as bold as to grab the hips from behind and try to start grinding immediately, you accomplish nothing except for scaring her off. Instead, establish eye contact first, dance up to her from the front or side, NEVER from the back unless you want to scare her away, offer your hand palm up, give her the space and opportunity to take your hand, most girls would shy away but those are the girls who would be platonic anyways. This way you weed out the ones who are genuinely interested in dancing with you and those who aren't. When a girl takes your hand that's when you can slowly pull her towards you and away from her friends, you don't even need to say anything, she took your hand it means she's down (she won't hear you over the music anyways) give her a couple of spins (bitches love spins + spinning her is a great way of going from dancing face to face to grinding) and escalate from there. When dancing face to face get close, an old trick is to position your thigh in between her legs and let her grind it. If you can escalate to her grinding her ass on you, take her hand and bring it over your shoulder to your back and start running your hands down her body, I don't know what it is but girls find this super hot and 9 times out of 10 she will turn within a few minutes of this and make out with you.

Might be different there...but I don't go to a nightclub unless I have a table and bottle service.

Much easier at bars.

I'm a pretty attractive dude but chatting up girls at the bar is much more my forte than out dancing.

Sometimes I'll go with a girl though if I've already met them.

I was on vacation this week and met a couple girls at a dive bar then we moved to a more clubby place after together.

Just my personal opinion. May not apply where you are.
