30+ M living with a few female roomates. Get along better with one of them and that one is just down the hall. When they first moved in i told myself i would not go out of my way to chat with them while being polite at the same time.. (small talk: "good morning, have a nice day" etc..) After a few weeks i over heard the one down the hall from me say to the other: "Do you notice Sam-- (not my real name) does not talk to you unless he has something to talk about?" That was strange to me since she mentoned she thinks most guys just want 'one thing' when they chat her up.. Anyways i ignored that shit and just did my thing.. Next thing i know this chick is leaving her door open at night when she turns in and telling me "Good night Sam.." in a seductive voice.. I still did not make a move since there is that saying i kept hearing in my head that goes: 'Do not shit where you sleep Dude!' Over time we have gotten along better and she does not leave her door open any more, (she's also had a few guys over to bang since then.) but out of the blue one day while talking she said... "i feel we are friends now...".. I said to myself.. Whatever.. Since i knew there was a catch to her madness which was revealed a wk later when she asked me to help her with a loan..

I turned her down of course since i hardly know her and the risk is not worth my time, and like clockwork as i expected she found a beta to help with that. We still chat but that's it. Do you guys think i ever could of banged? Best time would've been the first few weeks when she knew nothing about me hence i was mysterious etc.. Now i think i've been put into the friend-zone since she has no problem yapping to me about the various guys she's been with after all this time of me not making a move.
