Nope it is not. Women are creatures that doesn't care much for the past or the feature, they are fixed on the present.

So if your SMV rises enough you would have such girls from your past chasing you. It is quite fun actually because at one point you would not care at all for those lost opportunities/old girlfriends, while they would rationalise your previous self that was their toy and would think that you would provide for them.

The fact that you think of recovery instead of moving on for better options is your real problem. Find another girl to hang out with, make sure that the said knows even without you directly saying anything and your chances of real recovery increase tenfold.

Basically, if you've positioned yourself to someone as a beta or you're below their ranking system for other people, you will stay there until you move up in SMV and SMV alone. So, if you started off as a 25 in someone's eyes and moved down to an 18, you must gain 15 points minimum to get into her radar, meaning that in the end you inherently are a 40 to other women, meaning you are more attractive to people who don't know you than to people who do.
