Probably has something to do with how you view woman and how you view yourself. If you truly belief that you are the prize and that whatever lady you pick to be around you is the lucky one, you probably wouldn't fall head over heels in love.

Whenever this happens, just try to bang has asap and find out that they are just chicks. That might make you realize that falling in love without them proving to be 'love-worthy' is a waste of time.

By the way, are you sure you aren't confusing 'wanting to fuck real bad' with 'love'?

Whenever you feel oneitis just stop and ask yourself "does this girl really have something no other girl on this planet does? Is she really that much different from the rest? Or am I just imagining her with all these qualities and setting up unrealistic expectations?" A lot of times you tend to imagine what it would be like with her and you make up scenarios where she has everything you want at that exact moment. Now really focus and think, does she really have all these qualities that I'm imagining or would she throw me out like dog shit if let my guard down, beta out and some high SMV guy showed up and wooed her?

I feel ya man. Men love idealistically whereas women love opportunistically. You need to slow your pace down, mentally that is. You meet a girl, things go well, surprisingly well. You're hooking up, going out, you generally enjoy her company and her personality. No red flags, no craziness. The problem is, you've been seeing her for about a month. I've got a girl I've been seeing for about a month. Sex is great, shes fun to hang out with, she smokes weed, shes down to do random things like paint, no red flags! But I quell those feelings. Those feelings I get to want to be monogamous and spill my guts.

Though I should back up a bit. I don't want an LTR, but the feeling to have one is strong, call it social conditioning. No matter how good the relationship is, I keep on meeting up with other girls and never promise exclusivity with any of them.

Ask yourself, "Do I want an LTR?". I would say no, especially if you're still in your 20's and early 30s. If you don't want one, then keep her as your main plate. She may fall, but that's what conquering oneitis is all about.....i.e. learning to let go and be willing to walk away if your terms are not met (i.e. non-exclusivity).

Read about plates from the rational male website. Go to the year one section, theres like 7 posts on how to spin plates.

Fastest way to get over with oneitis is go fuck someone else, I had oneitis for a couple of year but afterwards its almost gone and I stopped putting the pussy on pedestal. She is now just one of other women around me.
