I have been learning Python for a little bit. As of late I have been working with BeautifulSoup to mine data from various sites. This got me thinking: while large firms and governments will have vast amounts of data, what would happen if an individual had a fraction of that power for every day life? Heck even in business most firms hardly have any big data component to them. So what potential could be reached if individuals or small firms if they had even a fraction of data most companies had? (Sorry if this does not seem Red Pill, but from what I see, big data will allow people and organizations to tap into hidden truths that people don't want to admit in person, but that they do online. This would allow people to create movements that would have laid dormant.)
