Discuss. Some people either perceive as weird, unnecessary ('just text me that shit') or borderline clingy? Others say it's 'brave' and makes you stand out?

Personal experience this week was texting logistics with this girl but she kept being vague. Decided to call and the second she heard my voice she committed to the time and place I provided. Plot twist, she cancelled (again) the next day (hard next) but it was interesting to see she didn't want to confirm anything until I called (even though she flaked anyway)
