What are your thoughts on plates being on different levels?

For example, I’m working 4 plates. 2 are just sex. 1 wants more but doesn’t bring anything to the table. And one acts as if she wants to be ride or die.

I keep them all at the same distance at the moment, but would it be wise to level any of them up/down based on their feelings towards me? Should I reward the great behavior with more attention/time? Or will that chase the plate away? Not that I care too much, I can always get another. I’m just thinking in terms of optimization of the current situation.
