Alright, so I'm coming to my last year of highschool and I need help. I'm lifting, I'm trying to get better at approaching, and I think I'm maxed out on social awareness/cues. But, I still don't know how to play the attention game and I also still don't really know what it is. So, here goes nothing.
Every girl I've ever talked to does the exact same thing. I initiate conversation and they either give me one word, basic answers or look at their phones and drop the conversation. Obviously, it shows lack of interest. BUT, here's what I noticed in addition to this. If i come into class and ignore them, they starting doing things to try and get my attention. They'll sigh loudly, stare at me, start talking to themselves, or touch me. Then, when i give them attention, they'll actually have a conversation without a phone and without one word answers. So, here's where my question comes in.
How do i take advantage of this? I've tried ignoring people and they always do as i said earlier. But, i hate being forced to ignore them to get them to pay attention to me. Should I use this as an opportunity or should I say "fuck it, these girls clearly aren't my concern"? I see this with every girl I've encountered so far. Especially if they're above average and I don't know what to make of it. Any help is great! thanks.
