You're way over thinking this. Just say hi. Jesus.

Guys really need to read the sidebar before posting here.
What you say really doesn't mean jack shit, but guys still get hung up on it regardless.

Exactly. Worrying about what to say is just a convenient way for guys to self-sabotage so they don't have to overcome their social anxiety. I mean, it's not like you can't find a million lists of ice-breakers and openers online, the only point of posting here asking what to say is to hamster up an excuse to procrastinate and deflect the burden of failure. "I would have talked to her, but no one on asktrp could come up with a good opening line..."

It's a vicious cycle. Because even when given multiple examples, then they have to go through which is the best, then they have second thoughts, etc etc.

It's the classic "why don't you / yes, but" game.

You're coming from the wrong mentality. At this stage, saying anything is an accomplishment. That Isn't an insult, I still struggle with this. The hurdle here is that you must fully internalize and embody a modus operandi that puts you at the helm of the interaction so to speak. As well as your life, frankly. At this point in time you are trying to appease her, win her over. She's still high up on the pedestal in your mind.
I have found that this mentality displays itself on your persona very obviously, and girls of above average attractiveness can smell it like a shark senses blood in the water. The key here is that this mentality stems from a fear of failure. This is why, initially, saying anything is a victory. No matter what someone tells you on here, it will not fit a real-world interaction. You MUST kill your fear of Failure. Figure out what that will take for you. I say get your balls out and talk to her from a genuine position. See what happens, deal with the consequences.

Something relavent. Make something up if you have to.
excuse me, did you see that fight here yesterday? it was crazy! Some woman was beating on her boyfriend. And the dude just took it, but he started getting little handsey with her after a while... seemed ok at first, but it kinda got to that point where it was like, "uh.. should I pull them apart?" What do you think? If a dude's getting slapped around by a chick, what level of self defense is acceptible?

Just pure bullshit. Pull her in, so she gets interested and has input. Eventually, move on to a real subject, invite her to spot B/get her number.
