Over the past year, I've raised my SMV by losing a ~60 lbs and a new wardrobe thanks to MFA. As far as background, I have 0 male friends and family is non-existent, which I've grown to be content with. Lately, I've been going out to bars alone and have been getting eyeballed by women, which is new to me, but I have yet to approach a single one. I can carry on a conversation for the most part without problem only if the conversation is engaged first by the woman. I may have approach anxiety.

My dilemma tonight: I had two different women eyeballing me all night. One was alone (about a 5), the other was with her friend (HB8.5). The 8.5 I saw a week prior doing the same thing. My plan was to move in on the 8.5 until the 5 came to the bar. Should I have gone for the easier target which I feel confident I would have closed or should I have approached a set of two in order to claim the higher prize? Having two options contributed with me freezing up, but at this point I'm not sure what to do, continue going out and trying my luck?
