Curious how pre-selection works and is it detrimental after a certain point?

Is it worthwhile to post pictures with girls or to be seen with your plates in public if you are 1-2 points higher than them?

I know girls date up, and most men date down.

I'm just wondering if withholding the fact on social media is hurting me, or if you're attractive enough you don't need to have photos proving you can get girls?

I guess my thought process is that if hotter prospects see me with these girls it may hurt my chances...after all, their imagination is your best tool in the toolbox.
