I met her in February of this year. We got close over the Spring semester and eventually started dating right before Summer. She went back home about 400 miles away and I was worried about what would happen to us. We met up a few times in the first month and a half but then we somehow ended up spending the rest of the Summer together.

For 2 months straight we spent every second of our lives together, every day and every night. We went of vacations and camping and had a new adventure every day. We had every meal, night, and car ride together and it was nothing but incredible.

Her mom got her an condo before I met her that she planned to move into this Fall but the landlord moved 2 guys into the condo a few months before she moved. She's the only girl there now. I told her that made me uncomfortable a while ago and the days before we got back for school we made plans to find an apartment together instead.

We both had the best summer of our lives and every since we met we had 0 issues. The worst days for us was an hour or two where one of us was moody and then that was it. Never fought or yelled or had any insecurities in our relationship. Until this week when we came back for school.

The first day we got here we still talked about finding a place and how nothing would change except for being back in classes and working again.

By that night she told me she no longer wants to move in together. She likes her new place and the people she lives with. She told me she needs space to think about her life and to focus on school and work and that I can't continue to be her only priority. But she said this is a way that was so blindsided and cold compared to the way she was with me for months prior that I told her that we should break up then and she spent hours panicing and crying in my bed calling it a bad dream until i said I won't ever leave her. Since that night, she's said that "the 24/7 romance we had can't exist anymore" "Summer was a dream we both need to wake up from." She told me that after coming back it's becoming apparent that I'm clingy and want things that she doesn't in a relationship. She wants to make new friends and reconnect with her old friends. All her new plans exclude me. She says she loves me the same and that it scares her that what she wants now makes me feel like that's not the case. But how can it be the same love?

All Summer up to a week ago she wanted to get even closer. Plan a Spring break together and start saving once we got back for it. She wanted synced Calendars that included us having dates and work out schedules. She wanted to camp the first weekend of every month with me and continue going to a monthly poetry event that we attended when we started dating and now all of those thing mean nothing to her.

She's also turned her mom against me and tried turning a friend against me by speaking only negatively of me for the past week. I don't know what to do... she's like a different person to me now and I feel like I can't be myself around her when I do see her. I feel like I lost all my trust in her. It honestly feels like we already broke up when she swears nothing has changed. And then she called me delusional for not being able to see that perspective. She's being cold and distant and I have gut feeling that she's hiding things from me, looking for attention and affirmation outside of me. We don't have the relationship we did and it only took 24 hours for it to go from what it used to be to the state it's in now.

I really need any advice I can get. I don't want to leave her, I just want back the girlfriend I fell in love with. The one who needed me and cared about "us" over our individual selves..

EDIT: What she wants is like what most relationships are and that would be fine but I fell in love with her for wanting more than sleeping over twice a week and having a date every once in a while. It broke my heart to see how fast and willing she was to initiate a complete change in dynamic and then share absolutely no empathy for how I see that as something that hurts.
