I have some questions on some specific red flags. I have seen "not having a strong father figure" identified as a red flag. Also "bisexual" has been identified as a red flag.

Why are these necessarily red flags? One of the most (seemingly) quality girls I have met lately lost her father when she was 9 and also had an 18 month relationship with a girl several years ago. She's 29.

There is so much good material in this community, but much of it has to be tailored to each of our own individual experiences. I do not fully understand why these particular things should be dealbreakers for a potential LTR (dealbreaker is what I think when I hear "red flag").
