It may seem jagged asking this question on asktrp, but read on and you will understand what I am asking it, and why here. To me, this sub is about much more than just spinning plates. I've seen a lot of intelligent discussions on various topics, desire for self improvement and understanding about the world, and believe the members here will answer this question better than any other sub. With that in mind, I want to talk about conditioning one's brain, and as someone fairly young, I am wondering a few things from the mentors out here, about mental states of mind and gearing your body to perform at peak.

Some questions to maybe guide your response:

What do you do to train yourself to remember new things that you are studying (Read: what do you do on paper/ how do you store your weblinks, notes, etc on your computer/

What do you do to retain that knowledge a few years down the line?) How do you stay motivated (Read: what do you do to avoid situational emotions/ external influences and maintain a positive passion for something?

The reason I am asking is two-fold; firstly because there are times when I am really passionate about something, then others where I am not - and I do not know how to revive that passion and my previous train of thought for that subject again. And secondly, every time I am learning something new, both on my own and in school, I can't seem to find the best way to "take notes" and teach myself the content in a fast efficient manner. Perhaps I need to meditate or implement other changes in my day-day?
