You tell her who you are and you set up a date , you don't really need to greet her. I personally like to just send something like " Hey it's awayofthought " to see how she respond even if she respond with "k" keep going it means nothing.

I have two... If I'm going to make plans with her right away, I use the first.

If I don't plan on making plans for a few days, I'll use the second(I use the second because girl's don't seem to want to talk if I don't text them in 3 days or less when in get their number.)

"What's up Katy, this is Futuretrophyhusband" Followed by conversation setting up a date.

Or

"This is futuretrophyhusband, just touching base" I don't usually follow this with a conversation unless they ask me questions. Again, this is useful if you're busy and won't be able to make a date for while, but this way they do have your number.

You usually want to minimize texting anyway, as it is impossible to fully immerse a girl in your frame through just text.
