On the house: make it look nice and presentable, at least when you're planning to have company. It's important to present a good image of yourself at all times and that includes your surroundings. If you don't want to organize your home, then explain it as "this is how I live, it works for me" and leave it at that.

On ex-girlfriends: WTF are you talking about your ex for? This is seriously one of the worst things you can do. Nobody, especially another girl, wants to hear about that. Just don't talk about her at all whatsoever.

On working out: here, you should remember the phrase "Show, don't tell". Don't talk about the work you put in at the gym, let the results speak for themselves - one of the laws of power tells us to "make your accomplishments seem effortless".

So a few plates have been to my house, most comment that they dont like how my apartment looks. It is small, and not extremely clean but usually im very busy/productive person. Its not dirty, its just not organized. Whats the answer to this question/response? Usually i just advise that i wasnt prepared for any guests.

clean better and own it. "it's awesome because it's mine"

Other topics, some girls seem to hate my past issues that i have a ex girlfriend (which i have a child by) . Whats the best way or time to bring this up? Usually im up front but it seems like its a mood killer after that they always say " do you miss your ex, you are thinking about her? what happened?"

don't talk about your past relationships. "it's complicated"

if you want a deep bond with a LTR, maybe give her a nibble of your history once every year or two
