Not quite on a daily basis, but frequently nonetheless. Don't know exactly what the root of the problem is.
Not always, but usually, it happens at night. Don't know why, maybe because there's nothing left to do before sleep, no one to interact with, so that's the time when I reflect in my own world. Next morning I'm usually happier, and don't think much of anything else, maybe because i'm focusing on go
I tend to over-analyze my every small bits of actions and social interactions with different i had. For example, "Did I say the right thing?, omg, I said some cringy shit accidentally, my body language was repulsive with that girl, what does X think of me?, now I look like a complete loser in front of Y" etc, etc. I always try to evaluate my social standing and how/if my friends/aquaintances see me as a cool bloke or just a creep.
So my mood changes in the blink of an eye, flick of a switch. A good day can turn shitty in seconds.
i think of let's say, last night out. Or few past nights out. "Did I behave socially correct?"
I did have severe social anxiety during my teens, still have to some degree, but only a fraction of what it once was. I do care what others think of me, too much maybe. Because that's my projection in their world. If one thinks/speaks bad about me, others will believe. And people tend to remember you for embarassing or bad situations. Cool things are forgotten quickly and easily, like it never existed.
So yeah I over analyze myself and my behaviour and always find something small to put me down for the rest of the day. I'm obsessed how others see me.
