Needy: If I don't get this girl, I'll be disappointed with myself and my life. I need to get this girl in bed in order to not be a puke.

Desire: I'd enjoy having this girl in bed, because I like sex with hot women. But If I don't get her, it doesn't make my life any less meaningful or negate any of the accomplishments I have made.

When it comes to conveying these two thoughts when you're "gaming" a chick, trust that women are VERY perceptive. In your mind, you have to be thinking "I can walk away from this at any time with no shame or loss of pride." Any other thought will make you act and appear beta as fuck.
