I'm 20 years old and working at a small machine shop (like 10 people) while getting through school. I'm currently doing a double degree at tech school for Manufacturing IT / Electro-Mec technology. I've been at this shop a little over a year now and I'm starting to lose it. While my boss and I are on good terms, but he's bipolar so often times he'll lose his temper, start screaming, throwing things, kicking machines, etc. And it's nearly every fucking day I see this shit, so being around him is tiring.

Then, I've got a very openly gay coworker that I'm forced to interact with everyday. It's not the fact that he's gay, I don't give a shit, but he's very open to the point of where he constantly tells stories of his sexual experiences and sees me as a work buddy that he can tell anything to. Everyone there likes to joke with me about because they know how much of an oddball this guy is. And on the other hand, this guy also treats me like shit sometimes because he's the least respected guy around the shop, so he feels I'm the only one he can push around.

I'm close to losing my shit here. It's overall just a shitty environment to be in physically and mentally. The only reason any of this shit flies is because my unstable boss owns the place. I haven't left is because my boss sees me as a good worker and is flexible with my hours during school. I'm drained with this job, along with school on top of that, so I stopped lifting and I eat like shit. I'm how do I handle this whole situation and dig myself out of this hole?
