Think about it from the girls' perspectives. They have rampant hypergamy and desires and there you are telling everyone in the fucking world that you've slept around with all of them (or can potentially sleep around with all of them) because you're such a "player". Congratz, because of you now half the girls from that church who've invested their entire lives molding an "innocent" image are gonna be humiliated and ostracized.

If you actually care about staying in that church for friends and networking opportunities, you shut the fuck up about being a player, deny the claims and continue sleeping with them behind doors. Don't be an idiot

I remember a similar situation in a very openly christian friend circle of mine. The guy with "player" reputation was thought to have no chances with the girls by other guys, but surprise surprise, they all talked about him all the time and he ended up in a LTR with one of the hottest ones. Such is life, AWALT. Also another friend's gf who he met in a church youth group of some sort broke up with him over a chad who she met during travelling after like a year of a seemingly great relationship. I think the guy fucked her a few times and dumped, she's single now anyway lol
