Do it. Doubt they’ll care as long as you are a chill guy/high smv dude. Knew some vets back in the day in top tier frats and they got treated well and always had plenty of some of the finest girls in the school (big party school in tx)

Never go out of your way to brag about how you served, regardless of how cool civilians might think it is. Nothing is more lame than those faggots who served a bit and think the whole word should know or owes them something. With that said, people generally show you more respect when they realize you're a veteran. Ho's love that shit, especially if you wear your dogtags while you're hitting it. If you have a military branch sticker on your car/laptop/whatever, wear a military branch hat, or do some other shit along those lines, people will notice and they'll ask. I wear my deployment hat from my old unit and people will ask me what it's about.

If you meet someone else that is a vet, definitely ask them what branch they served in, and then mention what you did. In my college, I am definitely closest to other military vets, regardless of the branch they are in. Military guys have a bond that cannot be put into words, the U.S. military is the largest frat in the United States. With that said, I would look for some type of veteran group on the campus if there is such a thing.

Unless I can truly relate my military background to someone or a situation, I don't bring it up around new people until I get to know them. With that said, the class I'm in college relates HEAVILY into the job I used to do in the military, so everyone I deal with knows my background. I'm not really sure what your question is on this post, and I'm going on a rant, so I'm gonna stfu. If your concern is whether the frat is going to think of your military experience as a negative or a positive, I hope to god they think its a positive. It means youre a fucking man and have served your country, those cunts should be grateful to be in your presence. lol good luck in college dude, I'm bout done with it myself.

I pledged a frat my junior year, best decision I’ve made in my college career. Depending on what frat there will be some hazing and as a 22 year old you will definitely find it stupid. 18 and 19 year olds will try to make you their bitch and if you’ve served in the military you will think to yourself that you shouldn’t have to put up with hazing and disrespect. It’s part of the process and is up to you whether or not you wanna subject yourself to stupidity at the hands of dumb kids. Aside from that you will meet some of your best friends there who will always have your back, if it’s a top tier frat it will be extremely easy to get pussy.
