I am a junior in college at a relatively prestigious university majoring in Biology. At this point I am wondering if I am on the right path. TRP often recommends choosing a career in the STEM fields for job security as well as many other reasons. I am having second thoughts because at this point it is looking as though medical school may be a stretch. Over the last few years my sister has been working in the film industry and is quickly becoming a very successful editor/producer. I want to know what you guys think about taking a risk and changing this far in and using my sister as a resource. Film is something I am definitely more passionate about. I am conflicted as I don't want to regret my career choice in the future. Any recommendations are appreciated.
