She casually contacted me by replying to one of my instagram stories. I replied by saying dayum girl to one of her stories. She replied with haha. I then set up a meet and "texted purely for logistics".

When I met her, I displayed complete alpha behavior. I maintained perfect eye contact which she noticed and kept looking away shyly. We talked about a bunch of trivial shit. The whole time she would keep telling me to stop looking at me like "that" and blush. Finally, I brought her to relatively secluded place and started escalating extremely slowly. She kept pulling away. She was very awkward. I finally tried a straight up approach and started openly flirting with her. I escalated extremely quickly and put my hand around her. I started to lean in and she said "okay okay stop" I stopped and said "is this making you uncomfortable?" She was clearly very awkward and uncomfortable. She said "uhhh yes... wait i don't know". I got kind of nervous and stopped escalating immediately. I said "Don't you want this? I was clearly coming onto you this whole time. I know you want this". She said "maybe you read me wrong." I pulled away and apologized.

I'm 100% sure that she was attracted to me the whole time but I can't understand why she didn't accept my kiss. I apologized for coming on too strong and then I talked to her for a while before leaving. I gave her a short hug when I left.

I know I did something blatantly wrong. I can't tell if she was shit testing me or if she was genuinely uncomfortable. I'm new to RP theory so forgive any ignorance.
