Yesterday,

One of the girls I've been trying to plate recently rejected my kiss. Lets call this plate Steph . I'm about to head out of work and I decided to hit her up for a quick meet up by an elevator near her office, she instantly replies and agrees (via text).

So there she is, walks in, I give her a hug , press the top floor button, look at her dead in the eyes and go in the for kill. She pushes me back and to my surprise, looks at me and says "whoa" and asks me "what is this?" At this point, I keep my cool so it wont be awkward ( keeping a idgfa attitude) I don't answer and I just give her this "oh you like playing games kinda look" without saying a word just holding frame.

She takes a step back towards the wall of the elevator and her body language tells me its a rejection but again I keep my cool and say to myself fuck it I'm ok with that, I went for it, its all part of the experience. She now starts to text on her phone (my guess to let her boss know shes on her way back).

We reach the top floor, someone comes in , we stay inside and head back down. I say hello and start a quick convo to ease out the tension. Person gets out and there she goes again and asks me what that was. Elevator opens up on my floor , I gave her one of those looks again, said "ok" in a very confident way, kind of a smirk and stepped out.

10 mins later as I'm walking home she texts me "hey" out of nowhere. I never reply right away but when I did all i said was "whats up". And once more she asked what that was ? I play dumb and say "what"? So she says nvm and and asks me if I work the next day to which I said "yes" and she then said "ok, I'll see you tomorrow". I didn't text back, just left it on seen.

Today,

I'm having breakfast with the boys, its a small table so me and a couple of us had to get chairs and sit out a bit. We start talking and messing around and I was so focused on what was going on that little did I know, Steph had passed by and tried to say hi to me. My boys pointed it out. She passed by again within minutes and this time she touched my shoulder to grab my attention and I just said oh hey and left it at that, looked at her ass and kept talking with my friends.

As of now no text or anything from her yet, and I'm off tomorrow so we wont bump into one another until after a couple of days and I'm not texting her until she does.

So now I'm just curious, was this a shit test, rejection or her just being safe at work? Regardless like I said earlier, no matter the outcome, I see this as experience.

She has a BF. We have never gone out. I asked her to join me for drinks and she agreed to once she was back from vacation which was not long ago. I've been semi sexual, I don't give her the friend vibe or call her over the phone to talk, when I say something I very very rarely "lol". I barely text. I have never complimented her but I do give her looks of interest. Also a few nights ago I said fuck it I got nothing to lose and invited her to my area, it was very late. She didn't say no, all she said was "seriously" and "I'm still at work" (other job) followed by a few face palm emojis. I couldn't escalate because I did it out of fun right before going to bed, I saw her answer in the morning. And other little hints that shes into me.

What are my options and what can I improve on besides my English?

I was thinking of waiting until I saw her and telling her to join me after work for some drinks at a local bar
