First, dread is covert. Don't be too direct.

Second, this was more of a comfort test and a fear of losing you - something you needn't give a stance on. Let the hamster spin naturally if it already is, no need for any additional resonance on your side.

What you do is say "why do you ask?" with a grin, pull her close, kiss and escalate to sex.

Remember, reward good behavior, punish bad behavior. No need to instill dread if the situation doesn't call for it.
