This girl and this guy have been on and off for a while now and just recently the girl ended things and had the attitude of completely done for good now. The guy is a friend I've met a couple weeks ago and met the girl through him.

I've been talking to the girl for a few days now and she would always just randomly text me and try to get a conversation going. I'm not too sure how I feel about going for this girl since it was my friend's girl for a while but she is easily an HB8 so I would never initiate the conversations.

Last night, after coming home after going out, I texted her making plans for the next day (which was early in the morning) and she texted back within a few minutes. Just talked about some shit after that and then she said she was getting tired.

Me: "Imagine being a boring guy putting a girl to sleep. Glad that isn't me."

Her: "Well, you need to have sex like I just did then."

This is where I fucked up.

Me: "It sounds like I need what you're getting in my life. Let me know where I can find it."

Her: "Lol night".

Me: "Did you just 'night' me?"

Her: Bunch of emojis, consisting of smirk, wink, and blowing a kiss

Me: "Not how it works sweetheart"

Her: Emoji with tongue sticking out, "Bye MrOpppo"

I didn't respond after that.

Was this a shit test? What should've my response have been? What should I have done differently? Some other insight besides my own would be appreciated.
