I've known these two friends of mine for around 8+ years now. Once we started university, we started hanging out out of convenience and because we had lots of fun. Long story short, once I hit TRP a year ago, I changed.
My BP conditioning for the most part is eroding, slowly but surely. They're both however irrevocably blue to the point where I'm getting sick of their behaviour and mindsets.
Today I broke frame because one friend (who drives us all around) wanted us to hang with him and his girlfriend at a hookah bar. She has him whipped like a dog on a leash and she has a new feminist (read: lesbian) haircut and has gained some weight. She talks shit and doesn't respect his dad-bod dumbass. I ended up going since I needed to kill time but it ended up being a horrible time. This was after he cut short the barbecue that his dumbass planned. He's an absolute glutton. He's always trying to AMOG me too. It worked pre-TRP but that shit doesn't slide anymore.
My other friend is a sensitive little bitch who acts like he's my fucking wife, nagging at me. Can't take the least bit of ball busting, dresses like a kpop star, and always is too busy with his family (who he tries too hard to please (asian)) to ever hang with us. And when he does, doesn't eat any food or drink or smoke. He's a real bore. Can't take a joke for shit. I've hung out with these guys forever and I honestly don't know a ton of people. Two of the other guys in that group are super chill and are not as BP but good God man. We used to be awesome trio of buddies whod drive around and listen to music.
Now that I've steeped myself so deep into self-improvement, TRP concepts (AWALT, etc), and my own philosophical and soul-questioning journey, it feels like I'm not the goofy fatass loser I was before and I hang out with them out of obligation. Even the jokes are getting old.
Tl:dr: sensitive friend and whipped (possibly cucked) friend are absolute narrow-minded sheep who aren't super fun anymore. Sentiment is holding me back from leaving that group. Thoughts?
