Met a girl (HB8) through a mutual friend who lives in a different city from me two weeks ago when I went for a weekend rave and we ended up fucking. During the time we were together we talked about meeting up again over the next few weeks.

I believed her because we already had sex and so I thought she was into me, but found out later that she's actually been sleeping around a bit in the last few months 'getting over a breakup' so I was probably just another fun lay for her. This surprised me as it was the first time I'd come across a girl who was so casual about sex, normally would have expected her to be more invested in me after fucking.

After the rave I text her trying to schedule another meet up and it goes like this:

  • Me:What are you doing NY weekend?
  • HB: Was thinking about flying over to your city
  • Me: Yeah do that, spend NY with me.
  • HB: I'll think about it lol.
  • Me: Lol don't think about it just do it! We'll party and watch the fireworks together, buy your tickets tomorrow.
  • HB: (Radio Silence)

Silence goes on for a week (I don't text her again as well, was prepared to next her) until she messages me again early this week asking how my weekend was.

  • HB: Morning babe how was your weekend?
  • Me: Awesome, yours?
  • HB: Drank too much lol.
  • Me: Lol that's my girl.
  • HB: Lol have a good day babe.
  • Me: Thanks babe you too. <End>

Now I know that she's been riding the carousel hard and probably has a few options for NY for which I probably didn't make the cut. Normally TRP advocates that before sex, we text mainly for logistics and try to schedule a meet up and if the girl doesn't commit it means she's not interested and to next.

My questions are:

With a girl you've already slept with, how many times should you try to schedule a second meet up before next-ing so as not to come across as too desperate?

When she messaged me again after the radio silence should I have tried asking her to fly to my city to see me again? Also what was the point of her initiating after the silence again?

For these types of lays where it's impossible for me to meet her again on short notice due to logistics, if I am ever in or around her city (let's say in a few months to a year's time), should I text her again for another possible meet-up then, considering the circumstances of how she doesn't seem to want to come to meet me now?

Also any additional critique to my overall interaction is appreciated.
