Are your weekend plans vague or have you been direct as to where you want to go/when? If it's the latter, I would wait until the day of the plans to tell her when to be ready. If it's the former, I would text her before the weekend at some point to make some concrete plans.

No plans really, we just want to hangout. She is 20 so I don't really know what to do with her lol. I'm over 21 and I would take her to a bar or place to get drinks but we cant do that.

I see... I don't know how you go about your business as far as attempting to make a woman your plate but I go for the more direct approach. I dislike vague invites, i don't do "let's chill" or "let's hangout". She's 20, take her to play pool, walk in the park(if you're a great conversationalist), museum, bowling, etc. It doesn't matter what you do, but how you take advantage of it. Are you opting for a platonic date or are you going to physically escalate with her during this date?

Texts for logistics and/or a feeler text (random fun shit) are acceptable. Don't get into some boring text convo about her day like you actually give a fuck. Easiest way to end a potential plate/ltr before it ever begins.

It really depends on the context of your relationship. I'll usually throw out a funny ass meme (the tasteless gentlemen page on Facebook has the fire memes).
