I don't believe in the alpha/beta labeling for self-validation, but I would say I'm closest to the 'sigma' male.

Three years ago I fully cold approached this entire school. I had just moved to a new state, knew absolutely nobody, and was completely new to the social dynamics in the area. I made a ton of terrible first impressions with people, and ended up causing people who where showing interest in friendship to stop pursuing me altogether. Over time though I found other outsiders and developed my own individual friendships, but those relationships never lasted long whether things just naturally fell off or they rose to popularity. During these three years I was focusing on my purpose - I was consistently in the top percentage of my class academically and was on varsity for two different sports. During this time I was laying low, and not seeking validation or attention; however, I hated having no friends or social life. Finally after three years, I was sick and tired of being an outcast, and something snapped in my brain. I quickly developed a strong frame, began putting myself out there, and started to get invited to things. Not long after, I had worked my way into a desirable social-position, was having a great time partying and getting together with friends, and had even developed a rotation of orbiting girls. Unfortunately, I believe I had become complacent in terms of my own validation by means of social security and belonging. I was only included in this group for around a month before I was forced and broken down into a beta-following state, and I quickly lost all my charisma, character, confidence, and 'sigma' qualities. Everything spiraled down as I continued to get invited less and less, and reaching out to inquire on why isn't in my character to do so. I've now completely fallen off the social scene after being ostracized from this group, and I am now at a total defeat from the amount of times this shit has happened to me. Furthermore, the past few months I seem to have lost myself and don't have a purpose, and because of that I now have absolutely no motivation or discipline. I physically cannot work into any sort of grind or routine, and I feel mentally burned out. I'm trying to do online coursework from home, and I can't even push myself to do that.

How does one avoid becoming complacent with receiving so much validation and attention?

How does one avoid having their frame crushed and being forced into a beta-state in the first place?

How do I become that 'sigma' again: not caring if I'm not invited and not requiring validation?

I don't have any goals, aspirations, and I feel like I've lost myself currently; how can I find motivation/discipline and get myself back on my feet again?
