I’ve ran into occasions where another dude will try to make subtle off hand comments like negs about my clothes or my social awkwardness or something involving social status.

I can be confrontational but I don’t wanna show that it bothers me,but it really does. Why do some people do this to others and what’s the best defense? Come down to his level or just get in his face and say “what the fucks your problem?” ,it’s a coworker I’m cool with.

I’m pretty old (30 yo) and I never learned how to deal with this kind of stuff besides fighting....I’m too old to fight and I have a job to keep.
