One of the lower ranked plates on my rotation has been acting up. She has a bad habit of inviting me to things the day of, or even texting me at 2 am on Saturdays to “come over” like I can just teleport there. Yesterday, she texts me at 4 pm to go drink and I tell her maybe at night I will. At 7 pm she begs me and I tell her I’ll leave around 9. At 9 she does not reply until 12 am when she says she “fell asleep” but she wishes I went.

In that case it is probably my fault for not giving a concrete answer of whether I’m going, but she has flaked twice in the past for a “falling asleep/got wasted” excuse. I soft nexted both times and she came back but the behavior has not improved. Should I “set boundaries” or soft next again?
