I've meet-up over drinks and gone on a first date with someone I met via an online dating application. Due to our work schedules and travel recently in addition to the distance (~30 miles) between us, it's been a little over 2 weeks since we last spent any time together.

I mentioned to her I wasn't interested in texting with her beyond making plans, I didn't have time to in my life to continuously chat via text messaging with multiple girls whom I'm dating--I had other things to do. The first date went pretty well, and I can tell she's interested. Texting has been limited to logistics only, which she has obliged, so we really haven't communicated much since then. We setup a date for tomorrow; however, I've injured my foot yesterday, making it difficult to move around despite anti-inflammatory and pain killers (my foot probably has a broken bone, but there isn't much to be done in order to fix it). Walking in general is difficult. Should I cancel our scheduled date tomorrow knowing that given the limited time we've spent with each other, canceling is likely to appear as a last minute abandonment of the date we have planned, let alone show weakness? Or should I try to manage the pain and show up as planned?
