Hello AskTrp, was just a question I had, I think I kind of know the answer but it involves a woman at my work, as there is a group I often overhear their conversations while i'm working and there is this one girl in the group (hottest of the group - HB7) who always talks about her boyfriend.

She has said multiple times now to different people she has talked to about how she turned her now boyfriend down the first 2 times he asked her out and only agreed to go out with him out of sympathy to get him to stop asking her out on the 3rd try. He is also studying a subject which will make him a lot of money in the future if he is successful.

My question is, just because I have read that we shouldn't be persistent with girls if she turns us down, what logical reason is there that she turned him down twice but agreed to go the 3rd time?, and she said she has now been with him for 3 years?
