Ill keep this short.

Met a nice girl a week a go, we started off well, chatet quite a lot and we scheduled a date for today she agreed everything was fine, i told her to confirm the date today so i wont be waiting for nothing. She didnt say anything, so i asked what's up (you seriously have to do it all by yourself i guess).

Her: Oh, if you wouldn't have texted me i would have totally forgot. I'm sorry, i ran into a friend i haven't seen in a long while and we're meeting today, to catch up. We will have to reschedule. Someone who i've been friends with for many years has priority over someone i dont know yet.

Me: Am ok, not sure how to think about that.

Her: Well you will have to understand this, i haven't seen him in more than 2 months and we used to hang out together all the time.

Me: Sure, i understand

I already plan on soft nexting her, but i wanted to see if there are any other suggestions i can to in this case, should i try to reschedule and try again some other time? It seems like she's not that interessted after all.
