Recently, I was heading back home after some lab work. I run into group after group of people all dressed in university colors. Eventually I ask one group what's up. They answer that today's the big game, do you even go to this school? And laugh.
It was a little embarrassing.

I understand the no true Irishman fallacy here, but I felt incredibly awkward to talk to that group. Is that normal? Group of randoms. I also think I have self image issues. What do you guys think?
Is it normal to feel awkward to open conversation with a group who know each other when you're a stranger?
