I'm your typical "funny guy" that people in my life have always encouraged to do stand up, which I've actually been thinking of giving a shot. I've even written out some bits and they seem to go over well when I've ran them by people.

I'm curious what that lifestyle is like from an RP mans perspective. I don't have any hopes or dreams to become the next big hit, but it seems like it would be fun to do open mic spots and just be a part of that world.

It seems like it would build bullet proof frame, as well as social proof.

If anyone here has experience from the once in a while open mic guy, all the way up to actually touring and getting paid, I'd be curious to hear about your perspective.

Is this something you share with your plates, or is this actually a source for creating plates?
