Recently, I started a website and would like to learn more about staying anonymous. I ask here because many contributors (u/Rollo-Tomassi & u/IllimitableMan and many more) here are anonymous and anonymity is important to them. I would like TRPers inputs on staying anonymous because it is crucial for most/some of us.

I recently started reading more about how to stay anonymous, but would also like TRPs input on it.

Some questions:

  • Regarding address: Address that is asked when purchasing stuff, should I just put a bullshit address? Is there anyway someone can find me despite me having bought the whois security feature?

  • Regarding $$$: When paying for stuff online, should I use my credit card or are there other alternatives? How should I take payments from others that allows me to stay anonymous?

  • Regarding my IP: Do I use a VPN anytime I’m on my website or anything like that?

  • Regarding Email: I heard gmail is best? How do you protect your email from getting hacked?

Any advice would be helpful!

Edit: What intrigues me is that TRP gets so much hate from a lot of people. Interesting that one can get doxed by just posting their IRL picture on TRP. What interests me a lot is how has IM or Rollo or other famous TRPers not get doxxed yet by TRP-bashers (many of whom he possibly specialize in this type of stuff). What do those famous TRPers do?
