Hey guys, Pretty new to TRP, so excuse any blue pill behavior ahead of time. I'm a 32M (never married), she's a 29F (divorced). Not sure if that info is necessary... I met a girl at a music show last week and we really, really hit it off. I tell her to put my phone number in her phone, she does. Since we were with mutual friends, she actually knew of me, and knew my last name. Killer conversation, and at the end of the night, I asked her on a date. She agreed and we settled on Saturday night. She seemed to be extremely responsible, well spoken and a well rounded female. She adds me on FB the next morning. I try to be minimal as possible with text, because I want to come across as having my own life (which I do) and not overly interested, playing coy. I text her the day we are supposed to meet, and she says she couldn't meet up that night as she forgot she had made plans with some girlfriends. OK, that's fine, no biggie. I tell her let's meet the following Tuesday. Again, I text her that day, making sure plans are still on and she texts back saying she can't make it again, she's in the middle of a move and the week has been crazy for her. At this point, I'm thinking, 3 strike and you're out doll. I tell her that half-playful, half serious, and we settle on Friday for the 3rd time. I've very firm, and even state, she owes me the first drink. She states 'yes sir! and that she will be there.' We have had some friendly texts as well over the week, exchanging music likes, but no serious texting. Sorry if that sounds vague. I text her the day of the 3rd attempt for the date, no response. I'm not going to go to this fucking bar and wait for her like a doofus if she's not responding. I'm sitting at home relaxing on the couch, drinking bourbon and watching netflix. I text her about 20 min after the time we were supposed to meet, no response again. I send a courteous text stating 'Hey x, not sure if you got my text earlier. Let me know if this is still on for tonight." At this point, I realize I've either been stood up, her phone died/was lost, or something happened to her. A lot of possibilities, and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I have not texted her since last night. What would a RP male do here? Would you send one more text asking if she's OK, or just wait for contact (if any) from this girl? If she does contact me with apology, do I continue to pursue or drop this plate like I'm at a Greek wedding?
