Of course it is. You want to improve your genetic line. I hope my sons are superior to me once they’re grown and that I have raised them to be Uber mensch. I will be very satisfied with life if it turns out that way, but I will accept whatever outcome there is.

Not human nature per-se since tons of guys don’t really eclipse their father, at least men these days.

But yes I do think every son should learn as much from their fathers and eventually surpass them.

And then carry on the cycle.
