Coffee date on the weekend sounds boring as shit dude. Plus you didn’t specify a time or anything. And now instead of locking something in, you have to wait until 12 to figure out if she’s dtf or just going to ignore you instead. I’d try your best to get some other shit going with other girls at the music thing or daygame and send her a text later on just for the fuck of it.

Technique wise - smashing together the time and the offer was a bad move.

Establish time and activity separately. You want to know if she is rejecting the time or the activity.

I prefer to get the availability/time first rather than lead with the activity, because I want to know how much she wants to see me, not how much she wants to go rock climbing.

Plan wise, you wanted to meet the girl on a Saturday morning, and then leave her to go do something else?

Girls often ask for these types of dates where there is no way they can get fucked. They like an inconvenient time, filled with caffeine, so she's keyed up and logical.

More than frame or technique, you made a poor offer.

If you want to meet up with a chick that fucking early make an offer for brunch, the beach, hiking - something that's appealing to people at that hour. There is also a social logic to those kinds of early morning activities.

Moreover, unless you're explicitly running a two stage game, where you are screening, don't take a girl out if you don't have a solid plan to close.

Weekend first dates suck but the stereotypical night out sounds so cliche. I would stick coffee dates to weekdays and save the weekend for yourself
