Hey brothers, I am currently struggling with texting back to girls. Normally I can stave off the temptation to text back immediately or frequently; its a lesson I've learned slowly and I have other shit to do anyway (working on keeping a busy social calendar). However, my question is what to do when encountering a shy girl who just doesn't text. She responds almost instantly when I send her something (which is few and far between). But I am still having to take the first approach. We've only been on one date but I'd like to see her again.

Have I not made a strong enough impression?

Are some girls just completely shy and won't text first?

How often are there exceptions to the rule of pursuit? (i.e. making yourself attractive enough for them to come to you)

NAWALT? Thanks for any advice or help you guys can give. It's nothing major but somehow I've perceived woman texting first and frequent as a win as far as SMV is concerned.
