You’re going to get a variety of responses. I still see my first official plate weekly and that’s been going on for 12+ years. No we are not in a LTR and we are both free to see other people at any time.

I broke it off with my first b/c she left my state and I didn't want to dick around.

My second one broke 'cause I was being a dumbass and didn't respect a boundary. At the tim I thought every boundary a girl gave was token resistance. Nope.

(These are just the plates btw, there're once night stands and hookups in between)

Next plate is now an oLTR of 2 yrs. Tried breaking up with her a few times just to devolve into tears and becoming closer. She tried to break up with me a few months ago, I hunted her down and yelled at her loll Yeah......it's probably not healthy but i don't really want it to be.

Another plate is very.....sporradic. I set it up 2 years ago and every, like, 3 months she'll drunk call me/un-block me from snap and ask what's up. I've kinda stopped seeing her just cause, but she still calls.

No other plates, but I'd call them FWB's. Things just fizzled out with them/they moved on to another friend. Lasted about 2 months each time. No conversation we just stopped escalating on each other. Drugs were more important.

Yeah.....I'd say generally I've slowly lost control over what my plates/girls do but care far less b/c abundance. It kinda balances out. Workin on it tho

Plates are plates. They last a few weeks, a few months max. Eventually either they will drop you, try to LTR you, or do something red-flaggish and you need to drop them.
